Holy Week

It's Good Friday, we woke up around 5:30 a.m. and had fried fish for breakfast. The kids, being exempt from fasting, had their usual TJ Hotdogs. We, together with my 2 sons(Isko, 8 & Bryan, 7) and parents, joined the Way of the Cross done across Burayan. We went from the highway to the inner streets of the barangay and we capped it inside our chapel at around 9:00 a.m. A short time after arriving home a lay minister came to ask me if I could retype and print the "Pasyon Han aton Ginoo Jesucristo kinuha dida han Evangelio nga sinurat ni San Juan", it was to be used in the afternoon. It was all done just before noon. After lunch we had our afternoon siesta and woke up around 3:00 p.m., after which we watched the Passion of Jesus Christ movie of Mel Gibson. As we watched, my two sons had a lot of questions regarding the film. Questions like; "Why would Christ have to suffer if He is God himself?" Oh well, I tried my best to answer each of those questions. But still I could see in their eyes more questions after I gave my answers.
Our youngest, Blessie, was awake the whole afternoon while we were having siesta. So, by around 4:00 p.m. she was already sleepy. I bet we had a meaningful Holy Week for the family. Easter here we come!!!

Welcome Me

It's been quite a while since I have seriously written about something or someone. And blogging will help me practice what I used to enjoy before, writing letters. Finding my way back to writing will not be easy as I have to summon my ideas and put substance into it. And for starters, this is what I have. My inspiration will of course come from God who have given me everything to have in this earthly life, family and friends.

Thank you, Gibo, for pulling me here in the blog world...
